To me STEM is a school that has a lot of amazing qualities and is a hands-on school. I think the education at STEM is awesome. You get hands-on learning. Some examples on hands-on learning is experiments in science class. You also get project based learning (PBL). Some examples are learning about a topic while doing a project that corresponds with the topic. DRSS also has something called the 5 qualities. The 5 Qualities help boost the academics at STEM. The 5 qualities are Communication, Inquiry, Persistence, Collaboration, and Creativity. These are so important at DRSS because they help the quality of work we produce, and tests and quizzes just don’t make your work better. The qualities help me focus my behavior and mind on the task at hand. In the classroom I think they effect the mood and how hard people work.
