To me persistence means to never give up and keep trying. Persistence matters to the school because it affects the effort in in our work. An example of persistence I have is, when I was in World History, we did 3-D modeling and it was very frustrating, but we have to keep working and never give up or else we will never achieve our goal. I have increased my persistence by focusing and not quitting till I get it right.
